So much rain. What have we done? Have we messed up the planet? Have we made someone mad?
We hear things all the time from people. They tell us about how bad the aphids or mites are on any given year, or how bad sales are, or how trying it is to deal with this, that, or another thing. All sorts of topics, you can bet on it. Vendors, employees, customers, the stories are many. You can probably relate. But do you know what the number-one topic is? If you’ve answered that questions with weather, then you’re right on the money. And this year is no exception. But it is exceptional, though! We’re in New Hampshire and weather-wise it has been a trying experience, at best, for everyone. Put it this way, we know more than one person building an ark. Yes, it has rained pretty much every day since… um, the beginning of time, it seems.
There was one patch of summer-like heat a week before this was written (raining today), but it has passed. It was fleeting, and looking back it seems kind of insignificant now. Yep, we’re takin’ a beating here in the Northeast. And we’re not the only ones from what we understand. Nope. We’ve been hearing it from many parts of the country. It’s weird in a way.
