On a New Server
So, if you’re seeing this news item, you are viewing the site on the new server.
It’s taken a while to set-up the new servers — more time than we had hoped for, actually — but the job is finally done. To no real surprise we suppose, we were delayed by a company of monkeys (no names are provided to protect the guilty). We did, however, finally find some really great “server farmers” so to speak. Now we’re poised and ready for the long-term hosting of this website, and a long-term position for our web hosting subsidiary, GBHXonline.com and its family of client sites.

Q-Biotype Whitefly News
Apparently this whitefly is causing problems due to pesticide resistance
The “Q-Biotype” whitefly — discovered by Dr. Tim Dennehy, University of Arizona — has been in the trade journals recently. Specifically, Greenhouse Grower Magazine had an article by Lance Osborne, University of Florida, Scott Ludwig, Texas A&M Univeristy Extension, and Lin Schmale, Society of American Florists.

Downtime Revisited
Thanks for your understanding.
In the news item which precedes this one, a mention of downtime and changing servers was made. This has not been accomplished as of yet, but it soon will, we hope. We just wanted to keep everyone up-to-date about this. We’ll try to more accurately warn of this changeover when we have a more finalized path in which to follow. We thought we were a “go” but were proved otherwise. We still want to change servers, thus it remains on the to-do list.
