A Chance to Speak

Posted March 8th, 2006 by Mike Cherim

How we doin'? Once a year or so we run some sort of campaign to solicit responses from those with whom we deal: our customers, distributors, affiliates, and friends of The Green Spot. (And being that we’ve been doing this since 1992, some friendships have bloomed.) We have used various methods of getting this done… mostly telephone work. This year, Mike made a Beast-Blog weblog entry (see note) to which we’re hoping you’ll reply.

It’s super simple. There’s no registration, login, or anything. Scroll to the bottom of the article, and below any posted comments, you’ll find a form. Put your name (or screen name) in the blank, your email address (not posted to the site) in the next blank, and your web address if you have one (if not leave it empty) in the third, then, in the text area, write your comments or questions in plain text. Click the button to post it on the site.

Tell us how we’re doing. Is there something you’d like to see in the catalog or on this site? Speak up. We can only hope you’ll embrace this opportunity to speak to us. It’s to your benefit and ours if you do. And it’s okay to be candid. We can only hope. Some people are resistant. As an example, outside of the day of its launch, our GreenMethods Live live-support service didn’t get used as expected. The first day of service was great, then it died. The attendant is never in and standing by any longer (that got old fast), but one can still leave their question and check back. We check it a couple of times each day. Our forums failed too. An incredible waste of money and time. What a shame since when given a chance to vote, speak, rise and complain, or just say thanks, people should take it.

In the Photo: In this photo, taken today, we show Georgann (foreground) and Diane hard at work labeling product. If not for these two ladies…

Update: Diane is gone, Georgann is now General Manager, the GreenMethods Live service was terminated, and the blog post mentioned wasn’t used and was closed. Now, however, visitors can provide feedback here.
