Twice a year — once in the summer and once in the winter — we go on vacation, actually closing our doors. An odd approach to dealing with employee vacations? You bet, but we’re small, very small, extremely small, too small to do this otherwise. This, for us, is the only option we have to take a breather, regain our sanity, and count our money. Okay, kidding about the last item; that only takes a few minutes.
This year we will be closed for vacation for one week, from the 30th of June through and including the 4th of July. Including the weekends, that works well for us. We’ll re-open on July 7th.
So what’s this mean to you? Well, we will ship next week, courtesy of our producers, but the only orders that will ship will be biocontrol orders that were pre-ordered this week. In other words, get your order in fast if you need it. Otherwise orders will ship upon our return. Unfortunately, most biocontrol orders placed during our vacation, online or otherwise, will be delayed an additional week.
We realize this may disappoint some of you while others have grown used to our oddball way of taking personal time. To one and all we apologize. We hope you understand and don’t get mad at us. If you need to contact us please feel free to call 603-942-8925 and leave a short message, use our contact form to write us, send us a fax to 603-942-8932, or simply contact one of our distributors to have your questions answered.
Have a safe, enjoyable, and happy Independence day. We’ll talk to you when you come back on July 7th.

[…] Just because we’re on vacation, we can still offer you a sales item to benefit from. This time it’s the thrips predatory mite Neoseiulus cucumeris we’re offering. This sale isn’t in effect due to some natural occurrence or seasonal window as some of our promotions are, this item is on sale for the simple reason that it’s summer and some of our customers have thrips. For a couple of weeks some money can be saved. […]
