P. persimilis a good all ’round choice…
We’re still hearing from a lot of people suffering from spider mite infestations so once again we have decided to put our popular mite predatory mites, Phytoseiulus persimilis, on sale for a limited time. If you are unlucky enough to have spider mites already, we’re here to help. P. persimilis are a good choice.
For mite prevention we recommend Neoseiulus fallacis, and for control you do have other options such as Feltiella acarisuga, the very popular Stethorus punctillum, and others. Moreover you can also apply horticultural oil as a summer oil (for trees and shrubs). P. persimilis a good all ’round choice for a sales item so we chose it.
This sale is effective until the ordering deadline on August 8th, 2008, and will apply to orders placed by phone, fax, or made online. Please note, though, that the special pricing is good only for orders shipped no later than August 15th, 2008 (unless there is a delay on our end). They are available online now in a flowable medium like vermiculite or corn grit, and on bean leaves. Which, all depends on how you want to put them out.
