The Gift of Education: A Book Sale

Posted November 28th, 2008 by Mike Cherim

Educational Upgrade! With the holidays coming up we decided to do something a bit different. We decided to have a book sale so that anyone looking for that perfect gift of education for their special plant or bug person — or anyone needing an educational upgrade — will catch a break. Books are an outstanding gift. They definitely last longer than a cheese platter or box of chocolates. And anything gained by their consumption goes right to the head, not the waist or hips.

Since this sale is geared towards the holidays, we will get it there by Christmas (or Hanukkah) if the item is ordered during our sale. If after the sale you want to purchase a book and need it there in time, it’ll be best to call as shipping may have to be upgraded.

Due to availability issues with some books like those from from Ball Publishing, we will not be able to discount all titles. We are, however, able to offer discounts on the following (the links in this list lead to each item’s respective shop entry):

Sales items are also marked with this icon: [ON SALE]

This sale is effective until the ordering deadline on December 12th, 2008, and will apply to orders placed by phone, fax, or made online. Please note, though, that the special pricing is good only for orders shipped no later than December 15th, 2008 (unless there is a delay on our end). These dates should ensure delivery on or before December 21st, 2008. Need it faster? Call 603.942.8925.

[…] The storm also caused us to extend our book sale. It’s ended now, but we hope you were able to take advantage of the extension. Books ordered after the sale’s intended conclusion, though, may be delayed. […]
