Our soil-dwelling mites, Hypoaspis miles, are often one of the first critters put into a greenhouse for the prevention, management, and control of fungus gnats and/or thrips (and maybe even some spider mites). Since they last a long time but establish more slowly than some controls, putting out these soil dwelling mites early is a very wise move. We have successful customers that have been doing this for years which is indicative of its effectiveness and, really, its importance as well. Try it.
