Insecticidal Soap Sale

Posted May 22nd, 2009 by Mike Cherim

Hey mom. Soap's on sale! Please be sure to see an important note about Memorial Day weekend at the end of this entry.

Our ladybug sale ends later today (though stocks still exist) and our next scheduled article will cover in-depth information about insecticidal and non-insecticidal soaps and their usage. In light of this, we decided a soap sale would be a timely discount offering. And if you must have something in a bottle in your pest control arsenal, soap is a decent choice. Regarding the article, look for it in five days.

Insecticidal soap non-selectively targets a large number of soft-bodied pests like aphids, whiteflies, and others, even mites, killing them fairly quickly. It works by way of suffocation — but has other modes of action as the up-coming article will reveal. It’s quite an effective killer. Once dry, however, it no longer has a measurable impact on biocontrols. Therefore, it’s a good product to use in an integrated pest management (IPM) program if used judiciously.

This sale is effective until the ordering deadline on June 5th, 2009, and will apply to orders placed by phone, fax, or made online. Please note, though, that the special pricing is good only for orders shipped no later than June 12th, 2009 (unless there is a delay on our end). To order this item online, you can do it right now. Here’s the shop entry for insecticidal soap.

An Added Note

Please note that we will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2009, in observance of Memorial Day. Of course, our site is open anyway, so at least we can still spend some quality time together. From us to you, have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
