Sluggo for Slugs and Snails On Sale Now

Posted July 26th, 2009 by Mike Cherim

Inspired by nothing more than a glance out the window — and the presence of slugs and snails with every trip to the our soggy gardens — the decision to offer Sluggo Iron Phosphate Bait as our current sales item seems like a no-brainer. First a little background.

Sluggo Iron phosphate Bait is extremely useful in controlling slugs and snails. So much so that we have yet to ever have a customer indicate that it didn’t work for them when the season was done. And we have asked a lot of people. These people, in fact, all said it worked great! Is it possible to please all the people all the time? Not usually, but in the case of Sluggo the impossible may be possible. So far, so good, anyway. As always, we invite your feedback (below, while comments remain open, or by email).

And that’s not the half of it. The primary competing product to iron phosphate bait is a highly toxic poison (also a bait) called metaldehyde. And it seems the results of using the not-toxic-at-all iron phosphate — which breaks down into something your plants can utilize — are better and more consistent than the widely used poison. It just doesn’t get much better than that.

This sale is effective until the ordering deadline on August 7th, 2009, and will apply to orders placed by phone (until closure), by fax at 603.942.8932 anytime, or made online. Please note, though, that the special pricing is good only for orders shipped no later than August 14th, 2009 (unless there is a delay on our end). To order this item online, here’s the entry for Sluggo Iron Phosphate in our shop.
