Sale: Persimilis on Leaves
For much of the country the heat is on, it’s cold outside, and there may even be some snow on the ground, but none of these factors will stop growers from doing their thing. Nor do these factors stop spider mites from doing their thing, either. In fact, the above-described factors can make spider mites issues more problematic than ever. Thus, for a limited time we are having a sale on Phytoseiulus persimilis on easy-to-place bean leaves — they’re great for control.

2011 Catalog Available
Things were delayed a bit this year, but finally our 2011 catalog has been printed and is being mailed to our customers. That said, we’re doing something a bit different this year as it pertains to our mailing. If you have a business or institution name and haven’t yet gotten your copy, you should get it this week, maybe next. To all others we plan to mail out in March, a bit closer to the in season.

First Sale for 2011: Hort Oil
If used right, some pesticides can be employed as part of a responsible integrated pest management (IPM) program using biocontrols.
