Massive Pest Scouting Supplies Sale

Super Scout! Throughout this site, most notably in the Necessary Info section, we harp almost annoyingly about the need to scout your crops systematically, without fail, before you encounter pest problems. We stress that doing so can save your crops and your wallet. This is especially true with biocontrols that for the most part work best preventively or during the very onset of infestation. Since we’re here to help folks succeed, putting sticky traps and all of our scouting goods on sale, more people might use and enjoy the benefits of doing things right from the start. They’ll all become Super Scouts.

Colemani On Sale

Prevent and Save - Save on Prevention! Prevention is all the rage — at this time of year, especially. The thinking is that if you effectively prevent pests you can save yourself some headaches later on. It doesn’t always work, though. Sometimes it only delays the onset a few weeks, but generally it’s a sound, worthwhile practice. In light of this, and that many growers are “clean” right now, offering an aphid prevention agent is a good idea. Thus, we’re offering Aphidius colemani on sale for a limited time.

Fallacis for Mites, on Sale

Sale! Winter is usually a dry time of the year and one that often sees spider mites raging out of control. Thus, it’s a good time to use spider mite predators to prevent or control these pernicious pests. And, since we know all of our customers do the right thing, acting preemptively before pest populations escalate, we’re discounting Neoseiulus fallacis — which just happens to be a great mite prevention agent.

First Post of the Year: 2012
