We want your visit here to be rewarding and easy, but there are, perhaps, some things you might want to know. You might find the topics on this page and in this extensive section helpful.
We have attempted to make this site as accessible and usable as possible doing everything we can without editing the publishing platform’s core files. We have built in a vast number of features and improvements. We won’t bore you with the details but will instead let the features speak for themselves. In other words, if you need something to enjoy the site and access our content, whatever it may be, you should find that your needs have been met. If you do find difficulty using something, please let us know. Do check out our Web Accessibility page first.
Since 1992 your privacy and ours have had equal importance. In light of this fact, we have respected yours as if it were our own. We will continue with this practice because it’s fair and good.
We do give you a couple of cookies (to remember you and that’s it), and we collect some information when you visit — your internet protocol or “IP” address and browser info, for instance, and your other contact information as well if you decide to contact us or shop with us — but all of it, every character of text, every number, every byte of data, it all stays with us. We do not, and will not, and morally cannot, sell, lease, rent, gift, or in any way share your personal information. Period.
If you request a catalog, call, fax, or mail-in an order, or if you order online, we will use your mailing address to send you our catalog. But we only do so once-a-year and only for a limited time (we’re not high-pressure). We suppose you can opt-out if you want. Nobody has yet but we’ll be accommodating and it won’t take thirty days if that’s what you want. We’ve never had any complaints so we figure it’s probably okay how we do it.
We will never use your email address unless we need to contact you about your order, if applicable. We will never ask for any sensitive information such as a credit card number by email. We will only ask for this information by phone or fax, and only if you’re paying for an order by that means. We will never send you offers or solicitations in any form to your email address. We have a strict zero-spam policy!

Every effort was made to make this web site accessible and usable, and to provide concise and accurate details of biological pest control and IPM. However, due to the nature of biological pest control and IPM — nature being the operative word — many variables exist. It is therefore recommended that practitioners of biocontrol and IPM do follow the procedures and protocols explained in this web site’s content, but only with a certain amount of reservation and caution. Only small undertakings are recommended for novices until, through experimentation, the techniques best suited for that person, system or operation are revealed and a certain amount of confidence is realized. We will not be liable or held accountable for anything on this web site or the site itself, for any damages, direct or consequential.
In a word, please. We encourage in-bound links. All of our web addresses, including those to our Bug Blog entries are so-called “permalinks” meaning they are permanent. To link to us, you may choose to use our 80x15px link icon (shown).
To use that icon on your site, please save the image and load it onto your web server. We prefer you do not hotlink it from our server. Doing so will slow the performance of your site. Then apply the mark-up below where applicable on your pages.
