Product Description
Targeted Eretmocerus eremicus Whitefly Control with ERETforce™
ERETforce™ provides effective Eretmocerus eremicus whitefly control in greenhouse, indoor, and field crops. This beneficial parasitic wasp naturally controls multiple whitefly species, with a strong preference for tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and silverleaf whitefly.
Eretmocerus eremicus parasitizes whitefly nymphs—especially the 2nd instar—by laying its eggs inside them. The developing wasp larva disrupts the whitefly’s lifecycle, stopping feeding and eventually killing the host. This biological control method is chemical-free, making it a smart addition to Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
ERETforce™ is most effective in conditions between 68–77 °F with relative humidity below 70%. It’s safe to use around beneficial insects and leaves no harmful residue, making it an excellent tool for resistance management and sustainability-focused operations.
