Product Description

NUTRIforce™ is a supplemental food for beneficial insects and predatory mites, made of freshly laid, frozen Ephestia (flour moth) eggs. Sprinkled into the crop or onto release sites, it gives predators like Orius and predatory mites a protein source to build and hold their populations when pest prey or pollen is scarce — especially useful for establishing predators preventively in thrips-sensitive crops.

Crops it supports

Ornamentals, hemp/cannabis, vegetables, soft fruits, and tree nurseries — in greenhouses, indoor facilities, fields, and gardens.

How to use it

Ephestia on cards: The card can be subdivided into smaller units and applied evenly throughout the treated area, or concentrated on thrips-sensitive crops. Protect the cards from direct sunlight and overhead watering.

Loose Ephestia: While cards are the recommended method, loose Ephestia eggs can be mixed into the carrier of an ORIUSforce™ bottle before application, or sprinkled directly onto crops.

Storage: Store the product at -4°F (-20°C) or lower in the plastic tubs. Kept properly frozen, the shelf life is at least six months.

Advisory: Avoid application shortly before or after overhead watering.
